My Word, My Verse for 2018

Are you ready to change your life with just one word, one verse? This resonated with me and made me begin my search. Let's get started!!!

At the end of last December, I was inspired and encouraged to choose a Word and Verse to focus on for this year after reading a Book "My One Word" by Michael Ashcraft and Rachel Olsen. I have never done this before, I thought It was more than a good idea, It was an answer from God. Because He is my father, He knows me and knows what my heart was looking for.

This search required quiet time with God and paying attention to his voice. On the 29th of December God gave me my Word, my verse and my songs for 2018. It is amazing how God is working in my life and I think one change in my spiritual discipline can open new dimensions of  grace and power.
A week into the New Year, the practice of applying my Word and my Verse for 2018 to my life has been easy, but I know that there is a long journey ahead (11 months y 24 days), this will require constant discipline and perseverance and I know It will be a daily search for God, who will help me and will give me support to continue when I feel like giving up. (Phil 3:14; Psalm 121).

According to The Journal of Clinical  Psychology after one week, 25% of New Years resolutions are abandoned and after 6 months less than half are kept. So I decided to write down my word and my verse  in several places where I would see them every day, for example: On my bedroom wall, on the mirror in the bathroom, in my bible, in my journal, somewhere in the kitchen, on my phone and on social media, and I decided to follow through with one small action every week.

Today I encourage you to look for your Word and Verse for this year If You don't already Have One!

"Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom" Psalm 90:12

My love Story

My husband and I met in January 2016 through a Christian webpage, what started as a simple acquaintance was becoming a friendship and the conversations were becoming more frequent, which gave me the feeling of having known him for a lifetime . In April of that same year he came to Peru and that's where everything began; the chemistry flowed naturally, and I felt I could trust him, I could be myself and I didn’t need to hide anything. During The time he was in Peru, he met my uncle and aunt, my friends, and the church where I congregated. We had the opportunity to travel to Cuzco and he was amazed at Machupicchu. In August of 2016 I traveled to meet his family and to see his country. At the beginning of the relationship He asked me that 'during the time that we were dating  we would not kiss each other in the mouth', I did not expect him to tell me that but I really liked it because he made me love him as a person, love his essence; I know that this is old fas
